The 3rd annual VamosMorados.com Player Of The Year poll saw four different players recognized for their contributions to Louisville City’s 2022 campaign. Kyle Morton, Wilson Harris, Brian Ownby, and Sean Totsch have all had incredible seasons and have played big roles in the team's success. However, fans were asked to select just one of these players for the VamosMorados.com POTY honors. With roughly 50% of the vote, I am happy to announce that Kyle Morton won! Morton joins Cameron Lancaster (2020) and Brian Ownby (2021) as players to have won this honor.
As in previous years, there is a charitable component with an opportunity for you to win a prize for your participation. That prize is a Select ball signed by the LouCity squad! How can you win this? For every $10 donated to one of the following organizations, you will get one entry into a random draw for the signed ball. You may either donate to the charity selected by Morton, The Cabbage Patch Settlement House, or to the LouCity & Racing Foundation. Soccer Holdings has committed to matching donations to the foundation. So for every $5 you contribute (plus the $5 matched by Soccer Holdings), you will get one entry. Get your donations in (receipts can be forwarded to thepurplesdf@gmail.com) by 11/11/2022 to have a chance at winning the signed ball! $1,036 was raised in 2020 and $570 in 2021. Let’s beat those numbers this year and do some good in our community!

The Cabbage Patch Settlement House is a local, non-profit Christian organization. Their mission is to equip and empower at-risk children, youth, and their families to be self-sufficient by helping them maximize their economic, educational, emotional, moral, physical, social, and spiritual potential.
The LouCity & Racing Foundation is the charitable arm of Soccer Holdings, LLC, the parent company of Louisville City FC and Racing Louisville FC. They run camps and clinics, provides youth academy scholarships, and help to install mini-pitches across the region as well as equipment. At the forefront of these efforts are mentorship, developing leadership skills, and using soccer to help form healthy habits.
