With the regular season done and dusted, it is time to start weighing your options for the VamosMorados.com Player Of The Year! This fan vote has honored the outstanding performances of several players of years past, including Cameron Lancaster (2020), Brian Ownby (2021), and Kyle Morton (2022).
Historically, this has had a charitable effort attached but unfortunately this year I do not have a cool prize to offer like in years past. With that said, I still want to encourage our fanbase to support some of the team’s ongoing efforts.
The LouCity & Racing Foundation uses soccer to provide our youth with a safe place and the opportunity to dream, thrive, and succeed. LouCity legend, George Davis IV, has done a terrific job of getting out into the community and engaging with local youth.
Coach Danny Cruz has teamed up with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in their effort to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease, and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Fans who donate $100 earn a chance to win lunch with Coach Cruz and some Louisville City players!
I believe that we have an outstanding community following the beautiful game and I hope that you flex your charitable muscles and help show others we are more than just passionate sports fans!
Without further ado, below is the POTY poll. Normally, it is a curated list. However, this year the field is wide open. Do you believe has earned the honors of best Louisville City player? The poll will remain open until the end of the day on the Tuesday following the team’s last match. Keep an eye out following that date for the announcement of the winner!
